    • !Naoma Manwaring Harker received a letter May 17, 1967 from Mrs.Zella R.
      Bennion, Altamont, Utah, to the effect that her 2 nd ggmother, Catherine
      Maggard married Anthony Head, who died in 1843 in Nauvoo. She started West,
      got to Mt. Pisgah where she died. See monument inscription for "widow Head
      Whiting". She has a letter written by a daughter of Catherie Head to "Father
      and Mother Elisha and Catherine Whiting" dated 29 Nov. 1847. IT is known by
      Sr. Bennion that she married a Whiting, and "father Whiting" as he was called
      and wife Catherine were cut off or disfellowshipped because of some minor
      infraction. They both died at Mt. Pisgah, and baptisms were re-dne for both in
      Utah. Sally Hulett, wife of Elisha Whiting died in Aug. 1846 and Elisha died
      in March, 1848, so they could not have been married for long. Catherine was
