She made a nuncupative (oral) will very near the hour of her death, having
intended to send for her brother Whiting the next day, and in the custom of
the time, mentions her son in precedence of his older sister. (Hartford
Records). Rev. Jonathan MARSH and Margaret WHITING had the following
children:
i. Margaret MARSH was born on 10 Jun 1711 in Windsor, Hartford,
Connecticut. She died on 18 Oct 1747.

iii. Mary MARSH was born on 19 Jul 1716 in Windsor, Hartford,
Connecticut.
iv. Dorcas MARSH was born on 31 Aug 1718 in Windsor, Hartford,

Connecticut.
vi. Joseph MARSH was born on 10 Nov 1727 in Windsor, Hartford,

Joseph Marsh of Windsor entered the service of his country in
stirring times. He made his will and died at Meriden, Ct. on his way home
from camp in New York, Aug. 15, 1776. He gave all his property to his widow
for her natural life and then the North Society "for the support of the
Gospel of Ministry or schooling as they judge best."
