      OBITUARY FOR LEO RAYMOND WHITING

      Services At Clitherall For Leo R. Whiting

      Leo R. Whiting, a former mail carrier at Clitherall, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 1972 at Cumberland, Wisconsin where he was visiting a daughter. Funeral services were held Friday, October 20 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Elder Julius Stabnow officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
      Mr. Whiting was born on September 25, 1887 at Clitherall, and was married to Lulu Thurston at Max, North Dakota who died in 1915. In 1918 he married Bertha Lukken at Clitherall.
      Surviving, besides his wife, are four daughters, Jean Whiting of Las Vegas, Nevada; Margaret (Mrs. Emory Swank) of Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Gretchen (Mrs. Robert Lund) of Cumberland, Wisconsin; and Mae (Mrs. B. J. Keppers) of Omaha, Nebraska; a son, Kenneth of Fargo, North Dakota; two brothers, Ben of Phoenix, Arizona and Ord of Longview, Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Edna Mustar of Palo Alto, California.
