- OBITUARY FOR LEON A. GOULD
Leon Gould, 95, of Willow Springs, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Missouri died Sunday, October 23, 1971 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lovita Seibel, Willow Springs. Mr. Gould was born in Battle Lake, Minnesota and had lived in Minnesota most of his life. He was a minister at the Church of Christ Temple Lot, and an apostle of the church. He was a retired farmer, and a postal employee.
Surviving are four sons, Winfield Gould of Willow Springs, Missouri, Arlo Gould and Donovan Gould, both of Bemidji, Minnesota, and Eugene Gould of Long Lane, Missouri; four daughters, Mrs. Darlene Smith of Ava, Missouri, Mrs. Stella Winegar of Columbia Falls, Montana, Mrs. Helen Taubert of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Amy Schrader of Bemidji, Minnesota; four sisters, Miss Gladys Gould, Mrs. Ethyl Tucker, Mrs. Nina Tucker and Mrs. Maude Sherman, all of 1328 Kings Highway, Independence, Missouri; 38 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Speaks Memorial Chapel in Independence, with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
