JOSEPH RICHARDSON5 (Joseph,4 Joseph,3 Joseph,2 William1), eldest son of Joseph4 and Hannah (Nelson) Richardson, of Bradford, Mass.; born Nov. 17, 1722; married DOROTHY MONROE, of Lexington.
He was a well-to-do yeoman, succeeding to and living on his father's property in Bradford, near the line of West Newbury, on the north side of the road, near the Merrimack River. It was in the east part of what is now the town of Groveland.
The inventory, presented to court Sept. 29, 1783, shows that he possessed about one hundred and ten acres of homestead land with the buildings thereon, valued at 1,095. 5. 0. He owned a pew in the second parish of Bradford, now the town of Groveland.
He must have died in August, 1783.
