Elizabeth Gilbert, widow of Jonathan Deming,
Sr., and step-mother of Jonathan Deming, Jr., on
her death bed, September 3, 1714, made a nuncupa-
tive will, leaving her property (all being personal)
to her two daughters, Mary and Ann, and letters of
administration were granted October 4 of the same
year to Jonathan Deming, Jr., and John Edwards, of
Wethersfield.

Her children were born between 1600 and 1615, therefore this cannot be their mother if she was born 1653. In my records, I have a birthdate of about 1578, at Shalford near Colchester, Essex, England.
