Born in Dedham, South Parish, Oct. 21, 1800; died May 20, 1881, aged 80 yrs. 6 mos. 29 ds.
He was a brass founder, and manufacturer of tinware. He built a house in West Dedham soon after his marriage, and occupied it till he passed the four score mark of a useful life. As a citizen he was honored and respected by the entire community for his unquestioned integrity. He was a consistent member of the church from his early manhood.
Married I, Boridill Mason, of Dedham, daughter of William and Lucy Mason, May 8, 1825. She died Sept. 16, 1859, aged 58 years.
Married II, May 15, 1861, Phebe, daughter of Peter and Alice (Milliken) Clinch, who was born in New Brunswick, Can., in 1832. She resided at last account in Newton, Mass.
