Born in Medfield, Mass., April 29, 1815. Removed to New York City in early life, living there until his marriage in 1847, when he removed to Brooklyn, N. Y., where he lived, with the exception of three years, until his death. He died during a summer visit to the mountains, Sept. 2, 1886. He was a wholesale Commission Merchant in N. Y. City.
Married, Oct. 4, 1847, Mary Sophia Cotton, of Newport, R. I.
