A son, Nicholas Browne was born about 1640 in Portsmouth and died in Shrewsbury, New Jersey
His will was dated 11 Feb 1711-12 and proved 2 June 1719 naming his wife Mary (Chambers)
and a daughter Mary. Hannah Chambers was a witness to his will.
From the records of the Camden Royal Historical Society Publications of London, Volume 82, page
91,92, we find the following: "A note of all Straungers, as well as Maisters as servantes in the Parish of St. Thomas in Southwark in ye County of Surrey, 17 Sep 1618" Nicholas Brown, tufftaffite weaver, born in Tournay, of the French Church.
