      He was born Nov. 6, 1912 in Salt Lake City, to Charles Alan and Minnie Norman Whiting.Survived by sons, Ted C., Lin T., Troy N., Charles W., Larry, and daughter Marilyn Fashbough; sisters, Mary Andrus, Merle Neal, Dulcie Rouse. Preceded in death by brothers Alan Norman and Malcolm Douglas Whiting; sisters Kathleen Ada Bell and Margery May McConnon.

      Graveside services will be on Friday, October 25, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Gilcrest Section). Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and on Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
