      2. John Fetherston, "The visitation of the county of Leicester inthe year 1619, taken by William Camden) FHL British film 86958 item 2. Giles wife's name is given as Maria Carew [it is wrong]. Eleven grandchildren accounted for.
      3. "Parish Registers for Etton, 1587-1908" FHL British fiche 6127398, Burial of Margerie Whiting. Had 41 grandchildren.
      4. Family Search Family Tree gives her name as Maria Carew but her burial entry and her husband's will name her as Margerie, not Marie.

      Notes:
      1. Her maiden name could be Carew.
      2. Her burial entry stated that she was 80 years old.
