Notes |
- Merged two Olive Fairbanks, one with no birth date, but a marriage to Joseph
Morse, born 12 jun 1768, the other with no marriage, but born 1 mar 1767. One stated of Wrentham, the other of Franklin. May have actually been two
individuals. If so, of Franklin, no birth date is married to Mr. Morse.
L. S. Fairbanks exacerbates the confusion in stating at the beginning of the list of children "CHILDREN, born in Wrentham:" and lists all eleven children, but on page 264 he states uniquivocally that Asa, Jr. was born in Franklin. Therefore all the following children were born in Franklin, as he moved there from his native Wrentham, became a prominent citizen there, and Selectman in 1780
