- !SOURCE: Obituary, newspaper and date not known, in possession of Beth W.
Baker. Quinn age 69 died in Salt Lake Hospital after a short illness. He
graduated from BYU, University of Utah, and from University of Colorado Medical
School in 1938. He had a private practice in Carbon County since 1940. He had
been a Price City councilman and first chairman of the College of Eastern Utah
Prehistoric Museum. He served as chief of staff at Carbon Hospital .He
retired in 1976. Burial was in Price City Cemetery.

Utah State Medical association convention at Cedar City, was forced to land in
a cow pasture near Parowan by darkness and strong headwinds. Howeve rno damage
was done to the plane and the doctor took off the next morning for the
