      Barbara Henderson
      Barbara Ruth Henderson passed away at her home on August 27, 2011.
      She was born in Chattanooga, TN, on August 6, 1930. Barbara was a sports lover. She watched golf,
      tennis and football whenever an event was on TV. She was most particularly an avid University of
      Tennessee Football fan, either watching the games on TV or making the trips to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
      Barbara loved her Thursday weekly bridge game with her friends, and enjoyed watching movies and
      reading novels. She was a dog lover — she always had a dog, and loved her “granddogs” when they visited.
      “Nanny” was insistent on having her grandchildren visit every summer.
      Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
      She is survived by: Her husband of over 60 years, Ray Dean Henderson; Her loving sister Peggy Rice,
      of Houston, Texas; Her four children, James Clifton Henderson (and wife Janie), Jeffrey Dean Henderson (and wife Lisa),
      Jill Henderson Tester (and husband Don), and daughter Julie Lenoir Henderson; She is survived by five grandchildren, Ashley Henderson Boggan (Will), John Clifton Henderson (Lisa), William “Cody” Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Jayden Henderson;
      and her great grandchild, William “Hale” Boggan.
