- 9 Henry Isham Longden Northamptonshire and Rutland clergy from 1500 (Northampton, England: Archer & Goodman, 1938-1943) (FHL British book 942.5 D3L v. 15) Documents 9a-c.
The third descendant was Giles's son Timothy who was the curate of Ashwell, Rutland, in 1601; vicar of Lilbourne, Northampton, beginning in 1605; rector of Markfie1d, Leicester, in 1610; and rector of Peck let on, Leicester, where he died in 1640. This biography credited him with seven children-John, Timothy, Nathaniel, Robert, Elizabeth, Martha, and Mary. Notice the similarities between the names of Timothy's children and the names of his own siblings.
