  Edith Jane Williams Hallagan (1883 - 19 July 1964) MRS. EDITH HALLAGAN Mrs. Edith Williams Hallagan, 81, of 1007 Kossuth St., widow of Arthur S. Hallagan Sr., died Sunday in a nursing home in Greenville. She was born in Rhyl, Wales. She came to the United States as a child. She had lived in Canastota about 40 years before moving to Utica about 25 years ago to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ewig. Besides her sister, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Donald Greiner [Edith Hallagan Greiner] of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Victor H. Smith [Grace May Hallagan Smith] of Catskill, and two sons, John of Utica and Arthur S. Hallagan of Tulahoma, Tenn. Funeral services will be 2 tomorrow from the E. F. Schepp Funeral Home, Canastota, with the Rev. W. James Gilson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Canastota, officiating. Burial in the New Forest Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 today.
