      (VI) Jonathan Whiting, son of Jonathan Whiting (5), was born November 7, 1786. He married, first, Susan Hathorn.by whom he had two children: 1. Elvira, married Sumner B. Pullen (see sketch of Pullen and Pond families). 2. Urania, married W. H. Pullen. brother of Sumner B. Pullen. Jonathan Whiting married (second) Amelia White, by whom he had one child, Charles, who married Sarah Fuller and they had children: Edwin, Walter and Etta. Jonathan Whiting married (third) Mary Richards, and had one child, William, who married Clara Marrow and they had two children: William, and George, who married Lizzie Packard.
