      Edgar Whiting (son of Samuel Whiting and Hannah Green ) was born 1835, and died Jul 11, 1913. He married Eliza M Hanna . Notes for Edgar Whiting: Glens Falls Times July 12 1913 Edgar Whiting Edgar Whiting Aged 78 years died suddenly last evening at the home of his daughter Mrs. George Canfield of wall st although Mr. Whiting has been in declining health for the past two years his death came as a shock to his relatives he was a veteran of the civil war and is survived by his widow and five daughters besides the one above mentioned they are Mrs. Clifford Gates and Miss Vira Whiting of Hudson Falls Mrs.Charles Case of Fort Edward Mrs. Mary Newton of Kingsbury four sons George,William,Julius and Edward all of this place two sisters Mrs. Miles Kelly of Mechanicville Mrs. Mellisa Daniels of So Glens Falls and two brothers Joseph, and Martin Whiting of Glens Falls the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of William Whiting on cherry st the rev.
