    =========================================

    From the research I have done, I believe he is the son of Daniel Kinsley and Jerusha E Phelps and was born 17 Jan 1811, I assume in Chazy, Clinton, NY as that is where they lived, instead of 1812 from guardianship petition record. The petition shows he was the son of Daniel Kinsley late of Chazy. The 1850 census shows him as age 39 which would put his birth in 1811. There is a complaint printed in the newspaper by Oliver R Conro (married Polly Vaughn) against other Vaughn family members including Daniel Kinsley, George Kinsley, Ediwn Ingersoll and Amelia Ann Ingersoll, defendants. I found Hannah's tombstone on findagrave. Daniel and Hannah also had an infant son who died buried with her. From the tombstone and newspaper complaint, I figured his wife was Hannah Vaughn. The tombstone has the name spelled Kingsley. From the newspaper I assume he was from Clinton County, New York. The birth date and location tie Daniel to this family.

    Daniel G Kinsley was the son of Daniel Kinsley, son of Rev. Stephen Kinsley and Sarah Wickwire. My ancestor is Ira C Kinsley, brother of the father of Daniel G.

    Thank you,

    Denise McNamara
