    John Whiting b.1746/47 and his wife Ruth Lane b. 1752 m. 1772 moved to Rockingham, Vt ca. 1800 with their children: Ruth b. 1773 m. Abraham Fairchild or Fairhand; Sarah b. 1774 m. Amos Phelps; Francis Lane b. 1777 m. Mary Kidder; Betsy Whiting b. 1781; Jonathan b. 1783 m. ? Barker; Lucy b. 1786 m. David Nourse; John b. 1788 m. Betsy Jones; Elizabeth b. 1791 m. Joshua Skiff and my line Almon Whiting b. Nov 21 1795 m. Mary Hutchins 1820 in Fryeburg, Me. Family legend has them living in Rockingham for twenty years before locating somewhere in Maine where John Whiting died. Almon and Mary eventually relocated to Crawford Co., Pa. Any information on the above family would be appreciated. Thanks!
