He received, as a wedding gift from his parents, all the land known as Squamscot, being about three square miles. This is now the town of Stratham, NH.

In 1633 Andrew received as a wedding present from his paren ts all the lands known of "Squamscott", about 3 square mile s, a town now known as Stratham, NH. Upon the death of hi s father-in-law, Simon Bradstreet, Jr., Andrew received "al l that debt which is owes me, 50 pounds.

Married BRADSTREET, Ann (Hannah), 11 Jun 1659, Hampton, Rockingham, NH. They had 9 children, most born in Squamscott and most recorded in Hampton, NH, vital records. He was a useful and highly esteemed citizen, though not much engaged in public life. They settled in Squamscott (Stratham). Ann (Hannah) was the daughter of Gov. Simon BRADSTREET of Massachusetts. Andrew received by deed from his father, Thomas, "in consideration of his late marriage with Hannah, daughter of Simon BRADSTREET, of Andover, Esquire," all their land in Quamscot, being about three miles square. By deed dated 10 Jul 1707, he gave land to his son Simon in consideration of an annuity. He sold land to his brother, Thomas. By will he gave the homestead to his son Jonathan and other land to his sons Simon, Andrew and Bradford, his daughter, Abigail FRENCH, and to his grandson, Samuel Wentworth. In the Greenwood Cemetery in Stratham there ia a prominent shaft in the center of the lot erected in honor of Andrew by a namesake in 1886.

1. From England to Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1633 with William Whiting. Wiggins had been in America before. He may have emigrated from Shrewsbury in 1631.
2. His marriage was published in a New England genealogical magazine. Marriage found in the Bishop's marriage licenses of London. Allegation signed by Peter Lole of St. Matthew Friday Street. Thomas Wiggins, of the same parish, gentleman, age about 41, married Catherine Whiting of the same parish, age about 32. Marriage to take place at St. Margaret New Fish Street. Dated 11 July 1633. If true, this would place Thomas Wiggins' birth about 1592 and Catherine Whiting's birth about 1601. He was a widower when he married Catherine. The registers of St. Margaret New Fish Street are not extant until 1712. St. Magnus the Martyr with St. Margaret New Fish Street is situated at the northeast corner of old London Bridge. The ancient church was destroyed by fire in 1666 and rebuilt.
3. In Piscataqua on 17 May 1629 (N.H. Provincial papers, 2, vol. 1 page 165). In America in 1631, returned to England in 1632, and came back in 1633.
4. An account of Thomas appears in the Noyes, Libby, and David "Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire."
5. Will probated in 1666 in New Hampshire.
6. "History of New Hampshire" claims that Thomas migrated in 1631 as an agent of the Bristol Company and that he founded the town first called Bristol on Dover Neck.

Thomas married Whiting, Catherine in Jul 1633 in St. Margaret New Fish St., London or St. Dunstan in the East, London, England. Catherine (daughter of Whiting, Pai) was born cal 1601 in England; died on 16 Jun 1664 in Rockingham, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States; was buried in New Hampshire.
